Hello everyone! Today I discovered a new London-based designer, Fam Irvoll and her ecletic show via Miss Moss blog (one of my daily reads).
Fam Irvoll was actually born and raised in Oslo and she had her fashion education firstly at Esmod International and then at the prestigious Central St Martins in London. As written in her website here, she is greatly inspired by happy things such as cartoons, candies and food. You can see this in her collection where prints and colours really breathe and mix well.
Of course, I admit that I am a great fan of Parisian chic and no-excess fashion but there’s something fresh brought by this collection that I guarantee will make you happy when you wear it (even March edition of L’Officiel talks about Happy Day Fashion). I think this is where London fashion scene differs with Paris or New York. They inspire you to be bold and brave!
My picks for this collection is definitely her sweaters and blazers that I can easily wear with my skinny jeans or plain dresses. This collection is actually for Autum/Winter but I really don’t mind wearing it earlier…this Spring maybe?
Plus, Irvoll also does kids collection, so stylish mummies out there, you can also buy some for your daughters :)
I end my post with the full show by Fam Irvoll. Hope you like it as much as I do
