During my weekend in London, I spent my Sunday in Camden Town. Eventhough I’ve been in London for a few times, I’ve never been to this area and I am glad that I did this time around. Furthermore, it was a sunny but a bit chilly, just perfect for a Sunday stroll.
Camden Market is actually a huge indoor and outdoor area where you can do a lot of shopping and eat and hang out. As the 4th most popular attraction in London, Camden Market receives more than 100 000 visitors every weekend. You can buy so much interesting and not so interesting stuffs, kitsch souvenirs of London, vintage collections and many more.
The area is composed of six sections : Camden Lock Market, Stables Market, Camden Lock Village, Buck Street Market, the Electric Ballroom and Inverness Street Market.
Cyberdog, a fascinating shop with loud music and mostly glow in the dark accessories ;)
The Stables Market, which used to be a stable (of course, duuuh!!) and a horse hospital. There’s a lot of cute vintage shops here with beautifully selected clothes.
A hot-pink coat on sale!
I also had my lunch at Camden Market, since there is plenty of choices, from Asian to Italian, Indian, Mexican and other food stall. It was quite difficult to find a seat but luckily people are so understanding, they let you squeeze in. After my lunch, I had a delicious lemon cronut.
Voila my day at the Camden Market! Have you been there? Do share your experience!
Till then, have a great week!
